Los Angeles County's Economic Opportunity Grant Program

The Economic Opportunity Grant (EOG) program will award more than $54 million across 6,800 grants to regions and organizations in Los Angeles County adversely affected by COVID-19, including microbusinesses and nonprofit organizations in the city of LA.

General Child Care and Development (CCTR) Expansion Funding 

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is soliciting Request for Applications (RFA) to expand General Child Care Development (CCTR) funds to providers offering full-day, full-year direct services for eligible children across the state. This is typically an annual funding
opportunity.

Funding is available for private agencies, public agencies, Local Educational Agencies (LEA), Federally Recognized Tribes or Tribal Organizations, and other local governments, to provide full-day/full-year services on or after April 1, 2023 through Center Based or Family Child Care Home Education Networks (FCCHEN) models.

Application Details

Applications are due by email to CCTRRFA@dss.ca.gov by 11:59pm on March 31, 2023.

Priority will be given to applicants providing direct services to infants and toddler in underserved areas as defined by the Local Planning Council’s priorities. Click on the “Fiscal Year 2021-22 LPC Zip Code Priorities” link on their website to locate your county and zip code to determine if you qualify for priority funding.
