Outstanding members of the Citywide Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART), Family Justice Center members, and advocates were all honored for contributions to helping survivors at the 7th Annual Domestic Violence Victims Awards on October 26.
A crowd of DV partners gathered at the California Endowment Center to applaud the seven recipients of the Outstanding Service Award, which included law enforcement, community advocates, and members of the City Attorney's Office.
Pallavi Dhawan, Director of Family Violence Legislation at the City Attorney's Office, was awarded the Dr. Majorie Braude Award to cap the celebratory event.
