Nearly 40 CIFD staff members joined the Central City Neighborhood Partners (CCNP) FamilySource Center to serve 500 families during a food distribution on July 13.
The department's Day of Service is an annual event that allows staff to participate in programs. This year, CIFD chose to focus on food insecurity in greater L.A., which affects nearly 1 in 4 households throughout Los Angeles.
