The Community Investment for Families Department, our FamilySource Center - Koreatown Youth + Community Center - and the Free Tax Prep LA program were awarded two County of Los Angeles Productivity and Quality Awards for a project that helped residents receive tax credits they deserved.
The county collaborative project, Claim Your Cash, garnered LA County's Quality and Productivity Special Commission Award for Outstanding Teamwork, along with the Bronze Eagle Award.
Over the past year, KYCC has been a member of the Claim Your Cash project, working with Los Angeles County departments to increase tax credit and VITA awareness.
